Bike Course

The 11 mile Bike course will be on the open road with vehicular traffic controlled. Clearwater Police Department will be patrolling and stopping traffic at all intersections. The bike course will be coned off from vehicular traffic with cones every 25 feet.

  • Right on Sand Key Park Road
  • Left onto Gulf Blvd.
  • Left on Bayway (dead end)
  • Right on Gulfview
  • Right on Hamden (stay on Hamden)
  • Left on 1st (where Hamden dead ends)
  • Right on Coronado
  • Right through roundabout, stay on Memorial Causeway
  • Right on Prospect
  • Left on Turner
  • Left on Martin Luther King
  • Left on Court to Memorial Causeway
  • Right on East
  • Left on Baymont
  • Left on Mandalay
  • Left on 1st
  • Right on Hamden
  • Left on Gulfview
  • Left on Bayway
  • Right on Gulf
  • Right into Park
  • Left at first turn in Park, follow around road in park to parking lot
  • Left to transition
Run Course

The 3.1 mile run will start at the south end of the transition area exiting the transition area veering to the left and running around the small pond on the trail/grass.

Exit this area onto the sand road to the beach and turning to the right and staying on the beach road to the north end of the beach (This is all hard packed sand). Turn right heading east off the beach and then turn into the parking lot running down to the roundabout near the transition area at the SW end of the parking lot, turning back up the parking lot to the sand road near the jetty turn right on the sand road remaining on the sand road/trail along the jetty/pass. Following the signs to the end of the trail where the runners will enter onto the main road of the park. Follow the road to the entrance of the park. At the entrance make a U-turn and follow the signs to the finish line. The remainder of the run will be on hard surface road.

The run course is completely inside the park. The park will be closed to vehicular traffic during this event. There will be a water table at every mile.
